How we treat what you share
Privacy
Owl Square is a neighborhood board. Here’s what we keep, what neighbors can see, and how to ask us to take something down.
What is stored
We store reports (title, description, place, optional display name, and optional photos), neighbor marks like “I see this too,” “it’s fixed,” and abuse flags, jobs (including the contact you add), petition signatures (name, email, optional comment and ZIP), City Desk applications (city, role, work email, office number, and payment status), and notes you send on Contact.
No account needed
Neighbors post without creating an account. We don’t ask you to sign in to use the square.
Job contact may be public
If you post a job, the email or phone you give is shown on that job so neighbors can reach you. Don’t post someone else’s number or inbox without their OK.
How to ask for deletion
Write us from Contact, or email owlsquare.connect@gmail.com. Tell us the city and enough about the post, signature, or application so we can find it. Contact · owlsquare.connect@gmail.com
Not official 311
Owl Square is a community board, not the city’s 311 desk, police, or public works. For an emergency, call 911.
